Summer Surfcamps
For years, Surfschool Katwijk has been organizing summer surfcamps with great success. This day camp takes place on the beach of Katwijk. Children are introduced to numerous beach and water activities with surfing at the forefront. Our surf camp takes place during the May and summer holidays. Summer Surfcamps our activities
Our target audience are young people who want to learn surfing and also want to explore other (water) activities. This summer, we will have two age categories again: 7-12 and 12-16 years. In addition to all the spectacular activities, you’ll quickly make new friends at surf camp, spend your days on the beach, and learn to surf! Besides surfing, we offer plenty of activities al shown here.
We will also visit the local lifeguards one morning to learn more about the beach and the (dangers of) the sea.
- Surfing
Wave surfing! The most popular activity during the surf camp. So we will do this for at least 3 hours every day. Make quick progress and end the surf camp with a new hobby.
- Rafting
One of the most spectacular water sports activities! With 6-8 people, you paddle through the surf in a ‘coast raft’.
- Mega SUP
All together on a mega large sup board. Who will be thrown off first?
- Beach Games
Release some energy on the beach in the form of fun beach games.
- Longboarding (skating)
Surfing on the road! Cruise through a beautiful park and finish with a nice ice cream.
- Archery tag
Archery on the beach! Who will capture the flag first?
- Bodyboarding/skimboarding
Bodyboarding is fun when there is high surf. Experience the power of the waves!
- Stand up paddling
If the sea and weather are calm then we will go supping along the Katwijk coast. Hopefully we’ll see a seal again….
Available Dates summer surfcamps 2025
In all those years we’ve found that it’s more enjoyable for everyone to attend the surf camp with kids around the same age, which is why we’ve divided the weeks into two age categories: 7-12 & 12-16 years. Are you 12 years old? The choice is yours.

2 days: €140.00 (only during May holiday)
3 days: €200.00

During the May- and summer holidays
Surfschool Katwijk offers various options for the number of days of surf camp. During the May holiday, you can sign up for a 2 or 3-day surf camp. In the summer holiday, it’s 3, 4, or 5 days of surf camp. Of course, additional days can always be booked during the camp.
